This webinar will be providing an all-purpose overview of the rules relating to the Offer in Compromise program and Installment Agreements. We will discuss the ease of implementing, types of installment agreements, including discussion on the Partial Pay Installment Agreements and Currently not Collectible status program.  Types of Offer in Compromise will be discussed, in addition to payment options and explaining how to calculate an amount that the IRS will agree to. What Income to include in the calculation and what deductions are allowed to offset this income. Also, dialogue on how to apply for and costs associated with Installment Agreements and Offers. Finally, we will discuss how to keep taxpayers in compliance with these programs and effects of the statute of limitations.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, you should be able to:
  • Provide attendees with an overview of different types of Installment Agreements available with the Internal Revenue Service and how each program works.
  • How to ensure we get the best available option for our clients.
  • Discuss how and when to effectively use the Office in Compromise program.
